Organizing Appointments

Function&Flow Organizing offers a complementary 30-minute phone consultation. If you choose to work with me, I recommend starting with the Intro Package, which includes a 30-45 minute in-home assessment and 2.5-3 hours hands-on organizing time. Subsequent organizing sessions are packaged 3-hr sessions with the option to add additional hrs at a discounted rate. Learn more about my services here.

Function&Flow provides trash bags, boxes and labels at each appointment. I typically try to utilize materials that clients have on hand, but if other supplies such as storage containers, baskets and shelving units are needed we will discuss options and I can provide resources for those items.

A small carload for donation removal is included after each session. If donations exceed 3-4 boxes or larger items, an additional fee of $50 will be added. I make a conscious effort to get items to communities/organizations where they will do the most good. Garbage, recycling and toxic materials are not included in donation services, but removal of these items can be discussed and appropriate junk hauling services can be recommended as needed.

If you require additional referrals for shredding, recycling, junk hauling, consignment, packing/moving services or other potential vendors for home projects, I have a robust list of trusted referral partners that I can share with you.

Function&Flow provides home organizing services in the Portland area. Organizing appointments outside this service area will be charged a small mileage fee.

Organizing Philosophy

Function&Flow Organizing was created with people in mind. As an Occupational Therapist, I look at your habits and routines and customize organizing solutions that work for YOU and your individual needs. My mission is to help create a space where you feel the truest version of yourself.  I understand how personal this process can be, and am committed to remaining judgement-free every step of the way. I will act as your support person as you make decisions about what to keep and what is no longer serving you.

I work directly with clients to brainstorm organizing systems, and will provide you expert advice, based on how your live in your home. I will respect your space at all times, and am consistently committed to NAPO’s code of ethics, which pledges to serve clients with integrity, competence, and objectivity and preserve client confidentiality at all times.
