Organizing Appointments

Function&Flow Organizing offers a free 30-minute phone consultation. If you choose to work with us, we recommend starting with our Intro Package, which includes a 30-45 minute in-home assessment and 2.5-3 hours hands on organizing time. Subsequent organizing sessions are charged at an hourly rate. Learn more about our services here.

We have a 3 hour minimum for organizing sessions. Function&Flow provides trash bags, boxes and labels at each appointment. Other supplies such as storage containers, baskets and shelving are not provided, but can be purchased at an additional cost depending on need.

We offer the option of a vanload of donations taken away at each session for an additional $50 fee. We make a conscious effort to take items to the most appropriate donation sites, where they will do the most good. Garbage, recycling and toxic materials are not included in donation removal fee, but removal of these items can be discussed.

If you require additional referrals for shredding, recycling, junk hauling, consignment and appraisals, we have a robust list of trusted referral partners that we can share with you.

Function&Flow provides home organizing services in the Portland area. Organizing appointments outside of our service area will be charged a small mileage fee.

Our Organizing Philosophy

Function & Flow Organizing was created with people in mind: we customize organizing solutions that work for YOU and your individual needs. Our mission is to help create a space where you feel the truest version of yourself.  We understand how personal this process can be, and we are committed to remaining judgement-free every step of the way. We will act as your support person as you make decisions about what to keep and what is no longer serving you.

When we begin putting in organizing systems, we will provide you expert advice, based on our understanding of your habits and needs. However, the client always has the final say about whether an organizing system will work for them. We respect your space at all times, and are consistently committed to NAPO’s code of ethics, which pledges to serve clients with integrity, competence, and objectivity and preserve client confidentiality at all times.

“Angie is very easy to work with and knows what she’s doing. She’s friendly, thoughtful, hip and professional. We are so grateful we hired her.”
