Organizing Services
Function&Flow Organizing offers a complementary 30-minute phone consultation to determine your specific goals and expectations. This is a great starting point to see if working with a professional organizer is right for you. Get Your Home Flowing: Introductory Package- 3.5-4 hrs
Recommended for first-time clients as an introduction to organizing
This starter package is a great introduction to working with an organizer. It is perfectly tailored to complete a small organizing project and establish longer term goals as desired. The following services take place during introductory session:
An in-home assessment (30-45 minutes). The in-home assessment allows me to see patterns where clutter is building up and where flow can be improved. Together, we will determine what is working and what is not, then create a strategic plan. A copy of recommendations can be emailed to you upon request once session is complete.
2.5-3 hours of hands-on organizing services- Includes: decluttering, sorting, labeling, organizing, and loading donations.
One small carload of items to be dropped of at a local donation center (dump run or other junk hauling services are available at an additional cost).
Basic supplies such as garbage bags, boxes and labels are provided.
Total cost for Introductory session: $395
Maintain the Function & Flow- Residential Organizing Services
For established clients
After the initial introductory package, I offer a 3-hour package session for $325. This includes a small carload of items taken for donation and online shopping for product as needed. If donations exceed 3-4 boxes or include larger items, a fee of $50 will be added. I do my best to donate items to local community and non-profit organizations. Each additional hour of organizing services over the 3 hours is reduced to $90 hr.
I will help organize any area of your home, including but not limited to the following spaces:
Residential living areas- including: bedrooms, bathrooms, lounging spaces and the kitchen
Storage areas- including: garage, attic, basement and offsite storage units
Home offices- including: paper organization, filing systems and mail processing
Craft rooms and tool storage
Together, we will make decisions about what deserves space in your home and what you are ready to part with. Once you have decided what you want to keep in your life, we will put organizing systems in place to bring you a new sense of function & flow. Downsizing Services
Getting ready for a big move? Downsizing to a smaller home? Let Function&Flow help. I can make this often difficult transition flow more smoothly, allowing you to minimize stress and maximize immediate enjoyment of your new space. I offer the following downsizing services:
Rightsizing/pre-move preparation: This includes a complete decluttering of what you don’t want to take to your new home. Together I will work with you to make decisions about family memorabilia and sentimental items. I can provide you with excellent resources for consignment, recycling, junk-hauling and donations. This saves you time and money to unnecessarily pack, move and unpack items that you don’t want. Services include a single carload of items taken to donation after each session.
Resources for packers and movers- while I do not specialize in the official packing and moving process, I can act as a liaison and help coordinate other companies that can assist in your move.
Assistance with unpacking and establishing systems in your new house to get you organized right from the start.
Cost: $98 - $108 hr. (varies based on number of hours booked and location)
